Hannah Collins was born in 1956 in London. She lives and works between London, San Francisco and Barcelona. 

A sculptor, photographer and filmmaker, Hannah Collins creates works that explore and challenge the boundaries and traditional expectations of the various media she uses. Reflection on the relationship between space, the environment and politics lies at the heart of her practice. Fascinated by representations of cultural and economic status, Collins's work reflects an archaeological approach to everyday life, using objects and motifs from daily life to evoke dynamic narratives.
