Drawing Now Art Fair 2024 - Booth B11 - Art fairmfc-michèle didier | Paris - Brussels -
From the early 1960s onwards, the work of conceptual artists helped to put drawing, photography, musical scores and performance on an equal footing with painting and sculpture. Drawing, like Sol Lewitt and his famous Wall Drawings or Robert Barry, became the main, not to say matrix, medium favoured by these two most important conceptual artists of the period. Other, more contemporary artists with whom we also work and who espouse these codes and 'conventions' are associated with our presentation at Drawing Now 2024:
Josh Smith (focus)
Peter Downsbrough
Alex Hanimann
Suzy Lake
Mathieu Mercier
Kay Rosen
Elsa Werth
