Details shows a succession of scenes filmed in static shots, sometimes in black and white and sometimes in color. The spectator must construct their subject through a black mask. A word, different for each scene, is cut out within the mask: INSTEAD, BECOMING, CONTINUE, ALONE, UNKNOWN, FORGOTTEN, EXPECT... The drawing of letters seems to dig a hole in the black screen and lets one catch a glimpse of the scene shot by the artist.

Following Follow Spot, made from a "machinic solo" by Samuel Bianchini, appears as an enigma somewhere between artist video, clip and documentary. In the urban space, a huge spotlight is activated. What is it looking for? By whom? For what reason? The video goes with an original sound creation, following upon the installationin situ, itself inherited from a dance performance.

In February 2006, Charles de Meaux met up with the Texan psychedelic rock band The Secret Machines for a performance in Marfa, the city of the Mystery Lights. This film is the private notebook taken from this experience lived in the shadow of some "Giants" of the American culture. A close encounter of the third kind, which tells a lot about the contradictions of our contemporary culture.

The artist's camera follows very closely the endless race of trucks on highways and explores the tension occurring between straightness and speed, mass and structure. Alternation of sound and silence gives tempo and inserted words on the screen such as "here" or "there" add some more abstract touch to this brief "road movie".

With ET/C, Peter Downsbrough suggests a journey traveling through different cities. He reveals how important the urban matter is and how its perception is increased by frequency of traveling. The space is defined as a series of distinct environments, rather than as one single reality that would be fully understood from only one point of view.

The starting point of Underground (Fragments of Future Histories) by Liam Gillick is the first science fiction novel ever written, entitled Fragments d'Histoire future and written in 1884 by Gabriel Tarde. The French philosopher, sociologist and criminologist depicts in his novel the collective functioning of a society that has taken refuge in the heart of the Earth, following a climatic disaster. Liam Gillick has made a contemporary adaptation of Tarde's text, by rewriting the English translation from 1904 that had a preface by H.G. Wells. Gillick included a preface on his own by the Italian sociologist Maurizio Lazzarato.

The Beat is a documentary conceived by the artist from the starting point of an exhibition whose lightning system is made to flicker at a frequency of 7,8 Hz. A mix of dark-pop music from the eighties and nineties emphasizes the psychedelic effect.

This video document recreates a walkthrough the exhibition "Le Château de Turing" by  Pierre Huyghe on the occasion of the 49th Venice Biennial.
Three rooms, three entrance for a total of nine differents possible itineraries.
To not impose a specific walkpath the film is edited in the way that all rooms follow one other randomly and endlessly.
